CCBA partners with Flintfox & Microsoft to boost digital transformation

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has reportedly announced a partnership with Flintfox- the pricing and rebate management specialists and Microsoft to advance its technology. The initiative falls under the ongoing project to support digital transformation across its bottling platforms.

Notably, the alliance will help the beverage company to replace its older solutions that may be obsolete with an aim to effectively manage the pricing and overcome prevailing challenges during various stages of the supply chain.

For the record, Trade Revenue Management and the RMx pricing solution offer Coca-Cola Beverages Africa with the ability to control advanced pricing and promotions, reduce the cost and operations and expand its margins.

By using the offerings of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and combining it with the prevailing e-commerce and sales force automation systems, Flintfox will facilitate real-time hyper-speed pricing and offer accurate pricing across various supply chain networks.

It is worth noting that the partnership with Flintfox and Microsoft will help CCBA achieve digital transformation through seamless digital systems that allow the entire business to function as one.

According to Mark Conway, EMEA Director at Flintfox, the company’s intelligent technology will help reduce the overall cost of operations, ensure productivity gains, and future-proof the operations.

Flintfox will also extend real-time pricing accuracy across different channels of CCBA and provide considerable, measurable ROI to the entity, Mark added.

Speaking about the need for digital transformation, Joshua Motsuenyane , Chief Information Officer at CCBA commented that since the company was born out of a collaboration of different companies, there are several infrastructure redundancies, blurred lines of accountability, and supply duplications.

Seemingly, to tackle the same, the entity is required to improve its overall business ability to function as one and enhance visibility and pricing transparency.

On the other hand, Gavin Holme, consulting service director at Microsoft South Africa claimed that with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure, CCBA will unify operations and adjust the operations in real-time.
