Beyooot, an Egypt based startup has announced its proper functioning in Egypt, becoming the first e-commerce platform specializing in office and home furniture based on the Augmented Reality (AR) technology with a capital of USD 266,541 (EGP 5 million).
As per reports, the startup aims to offer furniture products on the platform and also export them to international markets.
Founded by Mahmoud Qora, Hussein Talaat, Hassan Mihoub, and Ahmed Wahdan, Beyooot is working to empower the manufacturers of Egyptian furniture and strengthen the export.
Notably, with the help of AR technology, the visitors to the platform get access to exceptional shopping and buying experience that allows them to review the furniture they wish to purchase prior to completing the purchase process.
Initially, the platform is aiming at serving the Emirati and Saudi markets, and later plans to expand to the remaining markets in the Arabian Gulf by the end of 2022.
Reportedly, the entire range of products displayed on the platform are made in Egypt with competitive prices and top quality.
Hussein Talaat, Founder, Beyrooot expressed his excitement for the inauguration of the platform at the time when the Egyptian government has prioritized to support export of local products to the international markets.
Hussein stated that the main aim of the platform is to use all technological solutions to publicize the beauty of Egyptian furniture.
It was mentioned that the team consists of people with great expertise in furniture trade in the Gulf market in areas of marketing, sales, technical support, customer service, shipping, logistical services, and warehousing suitable with the nature of the markets.
According to sources, Egypt was said to be the foremost furniture source in the realm of Saudi Arabia till 2017 because of the many great advantages of the furniture in terms of materials, designs, and prices.
