Arab Financial Services (AFS) - a leading provider of digital payments outsourcing services in the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region has inked a partnership deal with PaySky Solutions, the digital financial services ecosystem enabler, to develop AFS Pay, Bahrain’s first complete payments acceptance mechanism for businesses through an application which will help convert merchant’s smartphone into a payment platform.
Notably, the novel AFS Pay application is a game-changer in digital merchants' payment acceptance solution that will empower AFS’s wide network of merchants with virtual point of sale (POS) terminals.
In addition to above, the application also allows businesses to easily and affordably accept electronic payment options both online and in-person through any Android smartphone or tablet, removing the need to invest in any physical device.
Along with the ability to scan a credit card in-store, AFS Pay also facilitates remote payment options for home deliveries by providing payment links that may be shared through social media like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, E-mail, and SMS.
Additionally, merchants will also benefit from transparency on transactions through a simplified and easy-to-navigate application dashboard interface.
