The well-acclaimed Liberian photo-journalist Mr. Gregory H. Stemn has announced the release of his new book entitled "Liberia: When Darkness Falls". In a statement issued recently to RunningAfrica/Africa TV1, Mr. Stemn who is based in Massachusetts, the USA said that the formal launch of the book and a series of signing ceremonies will be forthcoming in February, 2011.

The 233 page literary effort was published on January 18, 2011 and details Mr. Stemn's extensive coverage of armed conflicts in several countries in west Africa, including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and the Ivory Coast. In 1992. He hosted a photo exhibition during the Organization of Africa Unity (OAU) summit in Dakar, Senegal on the Liberian crisis and in 1993 in South Korea. Mr. Stemn has a long and distinguished career with several media houses in an out of Liberia in the last 20 years.
